The upper Amazon region of the Napo River, at an elevation of 300–700 m, within the Kichwa chakra—an ancient agroforestry system supporting up to 80 species. Nacional cacao with a delicate aroma, slowly fermented and dried by the communities of Kallari.
Fermentation takes place in crates, followed by sun-drying on raised beds. Floral profile, soft and round.
RAW — the cacao is not roasted. No sugar, no additives.
