Colombia · Urumo · San Rafael - Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta
100% pure MOOJO ceremonial cacao, from the finca El Mirador, in Arhuaco territory, available roasted or raw.

Urumo means snail / spiral in the Ikʉ/Iku language. In Arhuaco symbolism, the spiral evokes the universal movement, the return to the center, and the balance between human beings, nature, and all living things.

Grown in a natural agroforestry system, in the heart of the lush slopes of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, this cacao comes from hybrid cacao trees native to the region. Fermented for 6 days, dried for 8 days.

A deep, warm, and grounded cacao, connected to a sacred land shared by the Arhuaco, Kogui, Wiwa, and Kankuamo, and more specifically cultivated in Arhuaco territory.

SIERRA NEVADA DE SANTA MARTA

Nestled between the Caribbean Sea and snow-capped peaks, the Sierra Nevada is home to one of the planet's richest ecosystems.

Cocoa trees grow here under shade, in the heart of an age-old agroforestry that preserves soil, water, wildlife and the memory of indigenous peoples.

ARHUACO,
KOGI & WIWA COMMUNITIES

There, cacao is cultivated as a sacred plant, linked to the balance between humans, the earth, and the spiritual realm, in accordance with the ancestral vision of “good living.”

COCOA & LUNATION

Each harvest follows a lunar calendar and a collective process:
manual selection of pods, fermentation in local wood and solar drying.

This model guarantees economic autonomy, food sovereignty and fair prices, while protecting the rainforest.
