A passion for Grand Crus
Our MOOJO's have fine & subtle flavor profiles and are distinguished by their slightly acidic, racy, citrus, bergamot, jasmine characters or numerous floral, tobacco or red fruit notes.
Our beans are either raw or low-temperature roasted (103° to 107°C in the heart of the beans), ground and transformed into 100% chocolate chips, the fruit of a collaboration with Cédric De Taeye (Belgian Master Roaster).
They are grown by small farmer cooperatives and produced from Amelonado,
Gran Blanco, Chuncho, Forastero, Criollo & Criollo Blanco, Trinitario, Nacional & Fino De Aroma beans.
We take the utmost care with our beans, guaranteeing you exceptional Grand Crus with powerful, fruity, fine & aromatic flavors.
TUQ'TUQUILAL Criollo & Fino De Aroma is grown in the mountainous Alta Verapaz region of Guatemala. Our Red Ratzum cocoa grows close to the famous Semuc Champey waterfalls.
55 families, each caring for a one-hectare plot of land planted with 1/3 Criollo plus Fino De Aroma.
Its exceptional terroir enables us to offer a highly aromatic cocoa. Notes of coffee, caramel & crème brûlée.
