Grown by the indigenous Machiguenga communities in the Urubamba valley (Cusco), in the heart of La Convención province in southern Peru, this cocoa benefits from a unique terroir, between the Andes and lush biodiversity.
We select these beans with the utmost care to offer you a Grand Cru that is minimally processed, preserving all the authenticity of its origin.
🔸 Roasted at low temperatures (107°C, less than an hour), it develops a powerful, balanced aromatic profile.
FROM THE BEAN TO THE SENSORY EXPERIENCE
Once roasted, the beans are ground on a stone millstone, then shaped into 60g tablets and 240g ritual molds, perfect for tasting and ceremonies.
For a freer experience, they are also transformed into 100% cocoa nibs, available in bulk, ready to be savoured in all their splendour.
