This rare Grand Cru reveals refined notes ofcitrus, honey, bergamot and jasmine, offering a luminous, floral sensory experience.
Located in northern Peru, Piura is an exceptional terroir, home to a wide variety of native Criollo and Trinitario varieties. The beans come from the Norandino cooperative, which began growing cocoa in the El Alto valley in 2007.
We select these beans with the utmost care to offer you a Grand Cru that is minimally processed, preserving all the richness of its terroir.
🔸 Two possible experiments, depending on your preference:
- Lightly roasted at 108°C (less than an hour), it reveals a powerful, balanced aromatic profile.
- 100% raw (unroasted), it retains all its purity and natural intensity.
FROM THE BEAN TO THE SENSORY EXPERIENCE
Once roasted, the beans are ground on a stone millstone, then shaped into 60g tablets and 240g ritual molds, perfect for tasting and ceremonies.
For a freer experience, they are also transformed into 100% cocoa nibs, available in bulk, ready to be savoured in all their splendour.
