PALO SANTO .
Our PALO SANTO comes exclusively from the natural stocks of the dry forests of the Peruvian coast in the region of Piura and is protected there.
This Palo Santo is not planted, felled and cut, but is left to live its "tree life" as its natural cycle.
A Palo Santotree lives for about 100 years, until it reaches its "biological age". As the wood, sticks and branches fall off, the tree finally lays down on the ground to give itself up completely.
It is only on the ground that Palo Santo acquires its maturity, its high resin content and its intense, unique and inimitable fragrance.
The fallen wood as well as the tree itself sometimes remain lying for 4 to 5 years until they are finally collected by local peasant collectives. The Peruvian forestry company (SERFOR) pays attention to the amount of wood collected and then determines the compensation area to be reforested.
Incense made of resins and wood and the burning of medicinal herbs have a long tradition all over the world: beneficial scents that simply do you good; a smoke that creates a connection between inside and outside, that bridges the gap between nature and man and brings you closer to the gods. But incense is not only used for ritualistic purposes but also for specific medicinal purposes.
SAGE .
The leaves of our White Sage sticks are delicately collected by descendants of California's native populations in the mountains and coastal regions, thendried and bundled by hand with great care.
Some of our white sage grows wild on authorized public land, and some is cultivated on private land. To ensure longevity and growth, only the top shoots are removed during harvesting. This stimulates the plants to grow and thrive organically .
Like all our products, white sage is 100% natural and therefore free from any chemical treatment.
