Le majambo, de son nom scientifique “theobroma bicolor” est un cousin du cacao. Rare, il est également appelé fruit du jaguar, et produit des cabosses qui contiennent des fèves.

Ces fèves sont blanches et légèrement plus grosses que les fèves de cacao.
Riches en protéines et en fibres, elles sont également riches en oméga 9 et contiennent de la caféine.

Broyées, puis en poudre, elles sont une excellente alternative au lait classique et apportent de la douceur au chocolat.
Le majambo permet donc d’obtenir un chocolat original, qui convient parfaitement aux intolérants aux lactoses et aux végétaliens.

Le majambo broyé remplace le lait et apporte à cette tablette une note très végétale, douce, aux saveurs d'amandes fraîches, ce chocolat est une expérience à découvrir.

THE MAJAMBO

The majambo, with its scientific name "theobroma bicolor" is a cousin of cacao. Rare, it is also called the fruit of the jaguar, and produces pods that contain beans.

These beans are white and slightly larger than cacao beans. Rich in protein and fiber, they are also rich in omega 9 and contain caffeine.

Crushed and powdered, they are an excellent alternative to classic milk and add sweetness to chocolate.
